Core Facility MR Research in Neurosciences

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one of the most important imaging techniques for medical diagnostics and also plays a major role in (translational) research. The core facility MR Research in Neurosciences offers the opportunity to conduct neuroscientific research using modern MR techniques. Equipped with a 3 Tesla MR system, which is available exclusively for research investigations, and a methodologically oriented working group, it offers ideal conditions for working on scientific questions using modern MR methods. With the move to the Heart & Brain Center Göttingen (HBCG), the focus is extended to combined heart-brain research in addition to purely neuroscientific projects.
